Grace Hernandez – Senior Oration

Grace has also been an active participant in the Department’s Religion and Public Engagement (RPE) program, where she has distinguished herself as a URECA project researcher and a two‑time Lindmor Scholar. Through her collaboration with the youth organization Authoring Action, Grace has contributed to a project that empowers young writers to craft deeply personal narratives using only a pen and a sheet of paper, later transforming those writings into powerful, fully memorized performances. Her work highlights the transformative potential of storytelling and the impact of creative expression on youth confidence and agency.
